Creating a suitcase that's got everything!
PACKING FOR THE WEEKEND
30 APRIL 2018
The packing stage is both crucial and perilous, isn't it ladies? Will it be cold in the evening? Are we going to the theatre or a fancy restaurant? How many different outfits should I pack to cover all eventualities? That's the dilemma we're here to answer! Follow Elora as she creates a suitcase that's got everything!
1- An outfit for the adventurer in you
The first day of a weekend is often one of discovery and adrenalin! There's nothing like comfortable, feminine clothing to get you through the streets of your destination. Gone are the Indiana Jones-style 'rangers', and Elora has decided to take a more refined approach to exploring the city. There are two options: the first is coloured denim, which is hyper-trendy for the Spring/Summer 2018 season and gives your silhouette a boost. Team them with an embroidered denim shirt for a stylish casual look!
The second, a "safari" style dress perfect for finishing off your urban Lara Croft look.
2- An outfit for the femme fatale that you are
The most important part of your weekend: the evening! In a restaurant, at a cocktail party or at an exhibition, you're going for elegance and femininity... but without excess (or you'll be uncomfortable for the next two hours ! ). So choose an outfit in which you feel a little sexy and confident. Whether you're a timeless little black dress, like our Piano dress, perfect for slipping into your suitcase, or something a little more fanciful, like our Polka dress in incandescent red, one thing's for sure: you'll light up the evening! We recommend you pull out your stilettos for a guaranteed 'wow' effect!
The alternative to the dress, always perched high on heels of course, is the 100% irresistible androgynous suit. Mix our Pack tuxedo jacket with chain inserts on the shoulders with our fluid, glamorous Pisolai trousers.
3 - An outfit for the cool girl in you
Let's face it, you're cool. And every cool girl deserves an outfit that reflects her, don't you think? After a marathon day, you're likely to spend a more relaxed day strolling along the water's edge, a forest or even a shop window. For that, there's nothing better than a little floral dress, an ever-trendy print in 2018, which gives you the perfect bohemian, bucolic look from morning till night. If you prefer trousers, we recommend pairing them witha wispy tunic and straight embroidered jeans, or a high-waisted cargo pant to match with a loose T-shirt with a message.
4- Accessories to liven up your Elora outfits
What would a weekend be without the accessories to go with it? Every destination has its own little fashion accessory. Hats, bags, scarves, belts... everything you need to look stylish from head to toe. We've fallen for the Pessac handbag and the Pekin bag, feminine as can be. And we're sure to love the Padang chèche, which will brighten up any outfit!
Take a breath, your Elora suitcase is ready!
